10 Style Items Every Fashionable Guy Should Own

black-jiracheep-554133-unsplash.jpg

You’re probably familiar with the phrase ‘a chain is only as strong as its weakest link’. Well, as in many things in life, this phrase is quite applicable to fashion and personal sense of style. Yes, your complete outfit is larger than the sum of its parts, but for it to be truly great, there can’t be any weak parts or in this case links. Each and every item a genuinely fashionable man chooses to put on himself day in and day out needs to be as ‘strong’ as the next one, otherwise, the whole thing is essentially ruined – if it’s not perfect, it’s a disaster. Therefore, in order to prevent you from incorporating any ‘weak links’ into your wardrobe, we have compiled a list of items you simply must own. These are the items that will always come through for you and save the day when you feel like you’re in a style rut, so make sure you have them all.

Starting with the obvious choice

This item is so obvious that men tend to forget its power and significance. You can have as many shirts that come in many different patterns, cuts, and collar types – all reflecting your personal sense of style, but what you can’t do, is be without a classic crisp white dress shirt. This baby will be there for you through everything, from business meetings, interviews, and formal occasions to casually polished looks for first dates. When in doubt, go for your organic cotton white shirt as it will never disappoint or clash with other items. While you’re at it, add an Oxford cloth button down as well, as a quality one just gets better with age.

The Perfect Pair

garrett-sears-96300-unsplash.jpg

A truly classy man won’t bother with trendy ripped or those god-awful acid washed jeans. No, a classy man knows that these trends are fleeting and don’t say much about a man as everyone with no defined sense of style will jump on any trendy bandwagon. A fashionable man will choose a classic pair of dark jeans for the stroll around London, and he will make sure they fit perfectly. They should be fitted, but not skinny, and always make sure you pick the rise that’s most suitable for your body type.

To any occasion

Every man, regardless of his sense of style, simply needs to own at least one perfect suit. There are weddings to attend, job interviews to go on, and even anniversaries to be celebrated. Heck, you can wear a suit any day of the week when you want to look super-handsome – you don’t need an excuse. You can find high-quality trendy men’s suits in Sydney and every other fashion capital of the world, so hop to it. Both navy and black should be in your wardrobe, but even if you get just one for now, it’s a good start.

I’ll be in my suit and tie

IMG_3112.jpg

Well, you know where we’re going with this – where there are suits, there are ties, so when shopping for a suit, make sure you snag a great tie as well. The color and pattern should reflect your personality but also your general color palette and, most importantly, suit color, so make sure the tie is perfectly color-coordinated.

Keeping up with a theme

There are numerous types of shoes a man can and should own – loafers, brogues, a pair of Birkenstocks, but the pair you simply can’t be caught without are the black cap-toe oxfords. Reason: they go perfectly with every suit, and you can even wear those dark jeans with them and instantly create a semi-formal outfit.

Mr. Grey

berwin-coroza-340444-unsplash.jpg

If you don’t have a grey crew sweater, preferably cashmere, you’re doing something wrong. This type of sweater can be dressed up or down, depending on the weather and the occasion. It can be worn with a white dress shirt or alone, with sneakers or shoes, and you will always look polished. Why grey? Because it’s the most neutral as well as expensive-looking color there is, and in grey, you’ll always look like a million bucks.

In the name of athleisure

Whether you’re sporty or not is irrelevant here, because the athleisure trend is here to cater to everyone’s needs and preferences. Therefore, you can always find that perfect pair of sneakers. Tennis shoes are always a great choice as they can be paired with both upscale and casual items, and if you’re looking for something more ‘sporty’, sportswear brands have really gone out of their way with different designs and colors, so take your pick.

Like a movie star

pexels-photo-840916.jpeg

Aside from a guy in a suit, there is a strong possibility that there is nothing more handsome and alluring than a man in a camel coat. This item is an absolute chameleon – it’s there to elevate every outfit without being too loud, and if there is any item that can make a possible ‘weak link’ invisible, it’s this one.

Not one, but tons

Investing in quality basic tees is probably the smartest thing you can do for your style. Many people go for graphic tees, but as someone who knows better, you will stick with plain white, grey and black shirts that mesh well with everything else you own from sweatpants to chinos, sneakers to oxfords. You will also make sure they’re made from high-quality fabric so you don’t experience the crooked stitching after one wash.

Then there were two

0-1.jpg

As men don’t generally wear jewelry (but if you do, good for you, just don’t overdo it), they are left with a very small finite number of accessories and the two that are a definite must-have are great sunglasses that flatter your face shape and a quality watch. These two are an investment, but you will wear them forever, which makes them totally worth the price.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We’re pretty deep into January by now but I hope everyone had a great time during the holidays. I headed down to my hometown of Miami to spend some much needed family time. I always love going down there and trading the cold NYC temperatures for the warm sun. The past few times I’ve gone back home I’ve noticed how nice the Wynwood / Midtown Miami area has been getting. I’ve had the chance to explore the Miami Design District before, but lately they’ve added more stores and construction is still underway for more it seems. It really reminds me of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills except theres a few more streets with stores in Miami. When you’re going for a more polished sophisticated look in warm weather, a lighter colored suit is your best option. I love the color blue and this light baby blue suit exudes freshness and reminds me of the breezy air near the beach. I decided to wear a darker navy blue tie to add a little contrast to the ensemble. The watch im wearing is from Gelfand & Co and it has not left my wrist since I got it. My friends say I look like a real estate agent in these photos LOL! Thanks for reading hope the start of 2018 has been treating everyone well.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: MENS SS18

Hey guys long time no talk! I know it's been a minute.. JK! A minute is an understatement of how long I have not updated you guys. The truth is, there has been so much going on lately. It's my first summer in NYC & between my regular job, internship, social life, and everything in between I feel like I have not stopped. There is so much I need to catch up on and I definitely will over time.

For now, I need to fill you all in on my lastest Men's fashion week shenanigans. Can you believe this was my 4th season attending? It baffles me sometimes when I think about it. Each season always brings something new and excited to the table and it's great to see how it differentiates from the last.

Day 1:

I couldn't attend the first official day because I had an important day at my internship and could not miss. So my day 1 was technically day 2 of men's week but I know you guys get it. For my outfit choice, I decided to pay homage to one my faves, King Kylie! I felt like the shirt from her Kylie Pop Up Shop that my best friend Katryna got me for my birthday deserved a day out. I decided to dress it up a bit with some smart cropped pants and black dress shoes but at the same time I felt like I needed an extra layer. It was too hot to wear a jacket so the denim buttoned down worked just fine. Pictured below are shots from the Death To Tennis presentation and Patrik Ervell show. The Death To Tennis presentation was definitely a concept considering all the models had their phones and were live steaming and taking selfies of themselves as the audience took pictures of them. Later that night, there was a Carlos Campos after party at The Jimmy at The James Hotel, but it was a flop if we are being honest. The location was great and the DJ was spinning Hispanic music which I LOVE, but there was no air conditioning, no drinks & the party itself could have been better. My friends and I ended up going to The Standard to end our night. Nothing too crazy, because I had to wake up early for the next days events.

Day 2:

My day 2 but the 3rd day of Men's Week was probably my favorite of the entire week. The weather was ridiculous which is why most of my shirt was unbuttoned but I was definitely feeling myself & my outfit either way. I going for a preppy European summer vibe with the striped shirt, rolled up beige pants, and penny loafers. After a presentation at the Cadillac House some fellow blogger, photographer friends, and I caught up over some lunch at Westville. If you've ever attended NYFW you're familiar with Westville because it's literally right across the street from where most of the shows take place. Later that day I attended the Ovadia & Sons show, and if you're wondering if I had an invite to that one, I didn't, but you know I finessed it LOL. The Ovadia brothers always kill it and I was not about to miss out. That night there was a Parke & Ronen After Party at Gilded Lily and I knew I couldn't miss that either. I was looking forward to it all day especially because Gilded Lily is a "poppin" club and if a fashion week after party is held there you already know it's going to be a good time. I wasn't wrong. It was a blast and the fact most of my friends were present as well made it even better. This party 100% made up for the mess that was the night before LOL.

Day 3:

Ok so day 3 was probably the busiest day of week. It was the last day and everyone always wants to make it count. I started off with the Raun Larose presentation. There was a black transparent jacket that really caught everyone’s attention and it definitely caught my eye as well. For this day I decided to be a bit more casual yet trendy and wear a DHL shirt. I wore it with some cropped pants and Adidas Stan Smiths. After that we headed over to a swim suit brand that I honestly forgot the name of. Regardless it encouraged me to start hitting the gym more often. Next, we grabbed a quick bite to eat at a nearby deli because we literally had NO time and we needed to get to the next location ASAP. I even had an outfit change in between. LOL. I changed into some fire sweatpants and a silk white t shirt. I layered up with an aluminum-like rain jacket which served it’s purpose because at this time it started to drizzle. I’m usually never that person but sometimes you just have to step outside your comfort zone and try new things right? We arrived at the Theory presentation and I was definitely the most extra person in the room compared to everyone else. I got some looks here and there but a lot of people told me my fit was fire hahah. Afterwards, we headed to the Dream Hotel to catch the Grungy Gentlemen show. Following that, we rushed back to Skylight for the C2H4 show. It was a packed house but the show was great and had a intergalactic space theme to it. The collection was called Zero Gravity which definitely reflected the clothing vibe. To close out the night we headed to the Rochambeau presentation at The Cadillac House which turned out to be more of a party than an actual presentation. All of the models were basically just turning up and dancing to the music that was playing. It was a really great time, the music was “lit”, and there was even a performance by Yung Jake. If you have me on snapchat I’m sure you saw what went down.

Cheers to another great season. Can't wait for September!

New York Fashion Week Mens Essentials: What to Pack

nyfwm.jpg

Ah! NYFW season is finally here and the Mens shows for Fall/Winter 2017 have officially begun. After spending some time at home and studying abroad it feels great to be back in New York and just in time for my third season of NYFW. Although I am definitely not an expert, there are a few things I know you have to keep in mind when packing for NYFW and attending the shows.

One thing is certain and we can all agree that clothes are an obvious requirement, but during this freezing time of year you need a nice warm coat. It's kind of a struggle, I know... because everyone wants to dress to impress but then they have to bundle up for the weather and as a result, nobody really sees what's underneath. Find yourself a coat you can make a statement in or have fun with some scarves. Let's be real, everyone wants to get photographed entering and leaving the shows.

Depending on personal preference, you might want to bring a camera along with you. Sure some people might have their personal photographers with them and others make do with their iPhone, but if you want your own HQ photos just bring a camera. Besides, we all know battery life can be an issue.

Also, there is no way you are going to NYFW without posting something on social media are you kidding!? If you're like me and you're constantly on the phone and an oversharer you definitely understand the struggle. You NEED an external battery pack for jammed packed days of running around the city catching the next show or after party. Good thing you can find them for the low on Ebay or Amazon. You're Welcome.

With busy days and enticing after parties, the chances of you getting a good nights sleep during NYFW is slim to none. That's why you need some shades. Have an extra early show and regret staying out too late the night before? You need some shades! Find a great pair so you can step out of the Uber and confidently step into Skylight Clarkson Square like last night didn't happen.

Now with so many exciting things happening all at once and all the cool people you are bound to meet everywhere, you cannot forget business cards. Everyone is on the go with places to be and sometimes giving someone a cool card is easier than exchanging information over loud music and clatter. Chances are they probably have some too. Woohoo, Networking!

Last but not least, you need a place to carry everything right? Yes, women might have purses and large bags but men can never go wrong with a nice leather backpack. Depending on your outfit you can even bring a small weekender bag or a briefcase. Whatever your carrying methods might be, you won't regret having a place to put all of your essentials.

GQ's Most Stylish Man 2016 | Thoughts & Opinions End of Round 1

Every year GQ Magazine rounds up some of the most stylish men out there for people to vote as The Most Stylish Man. As 2016 nears its close, the battle for the title heats up. What started off with 64 men is now down to 16 and will continue to narrow down throughout the next couple of days. Here are my top picks from the 16 that should move on to the next round. Who will ultimately take the win though? Hopefully it's one of my picks! What do you think?

John Mayer - I feel like John Mayer doesn't even try and still looks comfortably hip.

Mark Ronson - This DJ/Producer doesn't play when it comes to suits even if it might not mean business.

Jared Leto - Although previously the worst dressed man in the world according to GQ, he seems to be switching it up lately.

Jaden Smith - Admirable for his bold fashion sense such as wearing women's pieces and totally rocking it.

Lucky Blue Smith - Something about his style just gives off a cool nostalgic classical feeling.

Luka Sabbat - Can't forget this NY Street Style "It" Boy. You've probably seen many trying to imitate him.

Casual Theme Park Looks

DSC_0286.JPG

Everyone knows that summer days call for casual attire. If the word summer itself doesn't scream shorts and a t-shirt then you need to get your seasons in check. I personally have always admired winter weather because of the fact that winter wear looks better visually and is more elegant. You'd assume a Miami native would prefer casual summer attire above anything but that isn't the case.

Last month, I was able to take a week off my internship for a family getaway to Orlando. I love my family and I do love going to the theme parks. If you've ever experienced theme parks in the summer you can agree that it's probably one of the worst times to go. All my fellow Floridian peeps definitely know that waiting in lines and walking all day under the scorching summer sun isn't the biz. Imagine wearing pants, sweaters, and coats....yeah...NO. This is why shorts and t-shirts are definitely the way to go.

Magic Kingdom is Disney World's largest park. I decided to keep as cool as possible with a white shirt that matched my shorts. Of course, I wore my Nike sneakers to ensure comfort for walking all day long. Shout out to my best friend Melissa for gifting me the shirt I was wearing for XMAS!

image.jpg
image.jpg

Pictured above is a cool goosebumps shirt I found when thrift shopping. I remember I found it and was ecstatic because goosebumps was one of my favorite shows when I was younger. Paired it with some simple beige shorts and a pair of black Ray Ban aviators.

At Universal Studios I was feeling a bit spacey... LOL see what I did there? I found a cool apartment stoop that reminded me of New York. I'm wearing a galaxy shirt from Urban Outfitters and some greyish almost marble look alike shorts with some simple snake pattern slip ons from ASOS.

Even though I was on the brink of melting, I still managed to pull some cool outfits for the hot days at the theme parks. I hope you noticed that it's possible to look trendy while staying comfortable, casual, and cool during a hot summer day.

Thank you for reading!

Cheers,

Sebastian

Fire(escape) Shades

image.jpg

At the beginning of summer I took a trip to LA. Some of you might remember from my pictures via Instagram and Snapchat (sebascintron). It was a lot of fun but one of the best parts of the trip was the apartment we stayed in. It was such a great location and my favorite thing about it was that it had a fire escape. It was giving me NYC vibes in LA but with better weather of course!

You guys know me and know that I like to pounce at every photo opportunity. Once I discovered the fire escape I immediately got a picture aesthetic vision in my head and at that moment I knew we had shoot it one of those days. I'm not even gonna lie to you guys, we took pictures here every single day. During sunset, at sunrise, and even before heading out for the day. I am ridiculous I know......(judge me).

Either way, here are some shots from one of the days in which it literally looks like I shot a sunglasses campaign. The sun was set perfectly giving us a nice shimmering lighting aesthetic and of course the shades I was wearing were super cool. Safe to say I was definitely feeling myself!

Check out the incredible view we had from the fire escape. Hope you guys enjoyed these pictures, I promise I'm not this cool in real life. Just kidding, I think I'm pretty cool!

Denim Venom

"Blue jeans, white shirt walked into the room you know you made my eyes burn..."

There's just something about a great pair of jeans especially ripped ones. It's a great feeling, and besides I was feeling true to the song with the blue jeans, white shirt, and the jean long sleeve shirt.

image.jpg
image.jpg

Peep one of my favorite t-shirts, a Givenchy t-shirt with a picture of Candice Swanepowel on top of someones shoulders. It's a simple shirt yet works for a variety of occasions like a night out or a chill relaxed day as pictured here. On a night out I've worn it with some black jeans, leather jacket, and chelsea boots.

image.jpg
image.jpg

I feel like im channeling Ina Garten from Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network with this long sleeve. The jean shirt is really nice and comfortable and I had actually been wanting one for a long time. One day I was thrift shopping with my grandma and I saw it for literally only $7. Of course, I bought it and as you can see it looks great with jeans but works well with swim shorts and a pair of boat shoes. I usually sport this combination at the beach sometimes or when I am out on the boat with friends.

Gloomy Brooklyn Vibes

I still remember that day we met in December...

My good friend Ashley and I explored the Brooklyn Bridge park area back in December and I can't believe I've taken this long to post these pictures. It's really gloomy and foggy today in New York and it reminded me of that gloomy day back in Brooklyn. These pictures are from the beginning of December when it was starting to get cold but not all the way so I was able to just wear a sweater. When walking around we discovered a cool restaurant that sits by the edge of the water and has magnificent views of the Brooklyn Bridge andManhattan skyline.

The entrance of the restaurant is nicely adorned with twinkling lights in its shrubbery and trees. Instantly sparked with a vision we began to just shoot in front of the entrance. I feel like I constantly get visions and ideas of potential blog posts or picture shooting vibes everywhere I go. It's something just that comes to me and pops instantly when I see something I like and can spot potential in. Anyways, I really like how the pictures came out, my friend Ashley is really talented. The background is a bit blurry giving the twinkling lights a bokeh effect and it just looks really dope.

Ashley has a blog of her own called NotHaute. (www.nothaute.com) Her instagram is: ashley.yu

NYFW F/W 2016 MENS Nutshell + Video Vlog

New York Fashion Week: MENS

The first week of February started off with Mens week for its second ever participation in New York Fashion Week. I think it's fantastic that Men can now feel represented during NYFW after so many years of having just women shows.

Dockers Party

The week was kicked off by a Docker's party in celebration of their 30th Anniversary. Crazy to think that Docker's has been around for that long now. The party definitely gave off some throwback vibes especially with the candies and snacks from the 80's that were being passed around going perfectly with the 80's themed festivities.

Of course I am wearing some classic dockers khakis to go with the occasion & I am layering up to beat the winter weather.

Rochambeau by Laurence Chandler and Joshua Cooper, was my first show of the season. I have to say I was impressed with the collection and with the whole environment from the moment I walked into the room. The ambiance gave off 90's hiphop house party vibes and I was completely digging it. The lighting, DJ battle, and fog machine were definitely doing the trick.

The collection itself portrayed it too, with the oversized hoodies, track pants, and other sportswear. Although it is very clean and minimal, I like the layering and the fact that there are some cool bold color pops here and there among the browns and beiges.

Is orange the new black? Many designers have jumped on the trend implementing a dash of orange in their collection and Rochambeau did not get left out as we can notice the pop of color with a few of their pieces as well.

With fellow photographer & blogger friends at the Rochambeau show

With fellow photographer & blogger friends at the Rochambeau show

Whether it was the all white Nike Air Force 1's, or the Juice movie reminiscence street style and music, the Rochambeau show was truly entertaining and it made me feel like I was transported back to the 90's.

These are a few highlights from mens week during New York Fashion Week. It is always such a great time and experience. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the season for more on New York Fashion Week especially when the women's shows start happening. Pictured above you can see my "grout-fit" paired with some all white sneakers. It been really cold lately so I am layering up with a Ralph Lauren turtleneck zipped sweater, Calvin Klein blazer, and a wool double breasted over coat from Gap.

NYFW F/W 2016 WOMENS Nutshell + Vlog

Goodbye mens week, hello women's! Fashion week is always great, attending different events and parties and meeting different interesting people, each year it just gets better and better. Here I assembled all of the shenanigans during the women's week portion of NYFW.  If you read my previous post, you can check out some of what went down during the mens portion but now it is time for the women's wrap up.

DSC_1193.JPG

My week began with the John Paul Ataker runway show at Pier 59 studios. The entire collection comprised of evening formal red carpet type gowns.

Opening Ceremony

Peep Charlie XcX, and Jaden Smith sitting in in front of us

Followed by Opening Ceremony which was absolutely out of this world! We were taken on an intergalactic journey with the collection and atmosphere of the show. Every detail from the large inflatable flying saucers hanging above, to the lighting, and futuristic music made us feel like we were in another planet. The clothing was very minimal with an edgy sophisticated futuristic touch. Although not pictured, Opening Ceremony utilized the color orange in many of their pieces to make a statement similar to several other designers of the week. I guess Orange really is the new black this season!

I was definitely feeling myself that night, trying to be a bit futuristic with my outfit pairing a long white tee under a hoodie and overcoat. I had a blast taking pictures on the inflatables as you can tell from above. Overall, the show just reminded me of the movie Zenon from Disney Channel about the girl that lived in space. ZEETUS LEPETUS!

IMG_5731.jpg

After the show, it's party time! I didn't attend the Opening Ceremony after party because I was invited to the Jonathan Simkhai one and after having attended his in September, I really did not want to miss out on this one. He throws great parties & I knew more people that were going to his anyway.

The party was a blast! It was held at the notorious Up/Down club and was sponsored by Maybelline. There was a photo booth and since it was Valentine's Day they had cool v-day themed props. The music was great and at one point throughout the night, Charlie XCX showed up and took over the DJ booth to sing a few of her hits. I made my BFA debut as you can see above with Charlie XCX and Jonathan Simkhai.

If you know me, you know I love taking pictures so naturally my friends and I had to raid the photo booth! I love it when parties have photo booths because it is always a blast and it gives you a memory to take home and look back on.

I did it! I survived my second season of NYFW! I couldn't go to every show that I managed to get invited to because school was a factor and I could not miss class. Regardless, I cannot complain I had so much fun attending the events I did and catching up with friends and making some new ones. That's a wrap guys! Till next time or should I say next season?!

Status Himmel X Jordan Himmel

Hey Jordan, so tell me a little bit about yourself & how you got into fashion.

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to NYC 2 years ago for school. I feel I have a very progressive mindset that gets bored easily, so I needed to find a place that could keep up with my brain. I have always had a sense of style, but my reason for entering the fashion world was to simply create, and to progress. Fashion, especially men's, needs a fresh take, and I believe this clothing line presents that.

Explain Status Himmel and the reason behind that title.

I understand people may think off the bat that "status" refers to a social standing I am trying to create or offer. But I chose status because of my last name, Himmel, which in German means heaven. Heaven is personal to every individual, and it's the best of the best that they could hope for. Not what somebody else wants for them. Status Himmel attempts to not take away from the individual, but instead connect with them, and compliment their persona, attitude, and vibes.

Where did the inspiration for Status Himmel come from?

My inspiration came from attempting to find the perfect shirt that would make picking out your outfit effortless. You have 2 options black or natural, and then 2 options after that, either with a pocket or without. The bottom pieces, which we call "symbols" don't take thought in choosing because wherever you're going, whatever day or night you're trying to have, will tell you which symbol to choose.

What do you define your style as and what influences your design/fashion aesthetic?

I would have to say my style is high fashion with a ton of personality. From the ripped denim to natural cork, I think people can see the elegance in the design, as well as become confused as to how that material got on the bottom of a t-shirt. So I like to think I'm creating a new style, "fresh"

What was the process of creating your own clothing like?

Along the way, the only thing I told every company I purchased materials or labor from was that I wanted the best of the best. I wanted to use the best fabric and best zippers possible. So I ended up with a soy fabric that is beneficial to human skin because of the plant protein, and riri zippers custom made in Switzerland. I wanted to create one perfect T-shirt that you didn't need to debate ever putting on. I also created the "kangaroo T" to fill a missing gap in clothing which is functionality. The kangaroo T features a hidden pocket on the chest that's perfect for holding your phone, wallet, or anything else that needs to be easily accessed.

Model: Christian dion

Who is your favorite designer and why?

I can't say I have a favorite. I'm very picky.

Where do you see yourself after college?

Hopefully still working on Status Himmel and building the vision. I want to keep it about the clothes themselves, and not worry about the money it generates. I have many passion projects I'm hoping I get to work on when I get some free time, one being opening a croissant restaurant.

If you could be in someone else’s shoes for a day who would it be?

Someone who owns a big private jet. The amount of places I would visit in one day would break records.

Shout out to Jordan for letting me interview him, his stuff is dope! Everyone should check it out!

2015 Victoria Secret After Party

After the party....IS THE AFTER PARTY! The once-a-year only Victoria Secret Fashion show success definitely deserved celebration! You'd have to be practically living under a rock to miss out on the angels walking the runway in this televised event. The 2015 after party was held at the infamous restaurant/nightclub TAO Downtown. Most certainly the hottest night of the year with all the beauty that filled the room. It was actually quite overwhelming considering it isn't every day that you get to party in one of Manhattan's elite clubs with not just models, but VICTORIA SECRET MODELS. GOALS!

Although, it would have been cool to see the models with their wings at the after party, I'm sure no one was trying to get knocked over to the ground at the club. Nonetheless, the party was phenomenal filled with scrumptious hors d'oeurves passed around and jams from DJ QuestLove on deck. As the night progressed, we quickly found ourselves sharing the couch with none other than Lais Ribiero, Romee Strijd, & Sara Sampaio just to name a few. All who were extremely nice and social with everyone congratulating them.

Other than the models themselves, Leonardo DiCaprio, Austin Mahone, Darren Chris, and Cuba Gooding Jr. were among the many celebrities spotted. Everyone seemed to have had a great time, and of course I most definitely did as well! It was everything and more, it was above and beyond and definitely a bucket list goal crossed off.

Here are some pictures from the party! Literally surrounded by angels you could most definitely say I was blessed.

NYFW SS16

Where do I even begin?! It's only been three weeks since I've moved to New York, and already I've been flooded with a busy agenda. Part of it is my fault because I like to keep myself busy and tend to look for things to do and places to be. One of these things of course, New York Fashion Week. To be quite honest, even though I am no fashion expert I wanted to go anyways for the experience and to learn a thing or two. I had always heard and read about NYFW and it seemed crazy to me that for the first time ever I'd be in the same city while it was going on. So why not attend right? Here's a glimpse on my street style, celebrity, and of course, after party filled week!

Street Style Day 1:

Calvin Klein blazer

Asos joggers

Yeezy x Adidas sneakers

Wrist game: Hermes bracelet & Fossil watch

Shades: Dior Men

Parties attended:
Treauu, Givenchy, Alexander Wang, PopSugar X Jonathan Simkhai, Public School, Galore Magazine, Dexter Dexter

Locations: Pier 26, Pier 94, Hotel Hugo, Skylight @ Clarkson SQ & Moynihan ST, Spring Studios, Up/Down, The Box, The London Hotel

Seen:  Justine Skye, Kardashians, Jenners, Hailey Baldwin, Hadid sisters, Uma Thurman, Jennifer Hudson, Bella Thorne, Jamie Chung, Jeremy Scott, Hailee Steinfeld, Pia Mia, Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Nicola Peltz, Will Peltz, & countless more.

In a nutshell, I can officially say that NYFW was a success. There were so many things I did not get to do, and shows I did not get to attend but its fine because there is always next season right? All in all, there were so many things that I learned, great people I got to meet, and I had such an awesome experience. Spring/Summer 2016 is looking mighty fine!
